did it - great start

So I completed week 1 of the couch to 5k challenge and it feels great!!!
I am considering doing week 1 again just to feel even more prepared and because I'm not used to being a runner I got shin splints- tender muscles in the shin- so I wasn't able to give as much as I would have liked.

On the plus said I'm happy to announce that I'm down 8 pounds since I weighed in last Sunday. So in one week due to all my healthy eating and exercise I lost 8 pounds. That's basically Christmas weight lol so hopefully next week can be similiarly successful.

Thanks everybody for your kind words and support. Although it's only been a week I feel better than I have physically and emotionally in a long time. Bring it on 2010!!!!

  1. WOW! 8 lbs! Thats the stuff of Biggest Loser. Keep it up and you'll be at your goal in no time.
