I dedicate this week as "Emily is going to journal week" starting Monday I'm going to try and track ALL my food for the week (yes even the visit to Mother Tucker's for my Dad's birthday on Wednesday). My challenge for myself is to post my food each day .. this is my challenge to myself .. will I succeed ? we shall see. Will it help me monitor my food intake? (from past experience I believe it will). Let's see how this week goes .... Happy November :)
I always find it funny what motivates us. For me it's my trainer telling me to push myself and work hard ... for me the scale motivates me as well. However I'm also highly motivated by other people's stories .. as well as the scary reality and truth of the overweight world. When I hear the scary reality and truth I'm reminded as to why I'm on this weight loss journey of eating clean and exercise. I want a longer life, a better quality of life for myself and my future children and I want to be healthy. This week I got a email with this You Tube video attached and damn was it ever a wake up call. Another clear reminder that it's NOT only important to eat clean and exercise so you'll look good in that bathing suit ... in fact it's much deeper than that. It's so you won't become another statistic .. you will be healthy and you will live your life to the fullest. You won't be diagnosed with the top 3 killers associated with obsesity. We have an epidemic on our hands and if you ask me .... it's scary.
